Meet Dr. Marquis
Dr. Marquis is a board-certified dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon, with training as both a dentist and medical doctor.
Dr. Marquis grew up in White Plains, NY. She attended Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, where she received a B.A in Mathematics. Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Marquis attended Columbia University School of Dental Medicine where she received her DDS degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Marquis was accepted into a highly competitive six year oral and maxillofacial surgery program. She completed her specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. In addition, she completed 1 year of training in general surgery and served as chief resident during her final year. Dr. Marquis earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Downstate.
During her residency, not only did Dr. Marquis gain extensive training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, but also in anesthesiology, trauma, head and neck pathology, and plastics and facial reconstruction as well. She has volunteered internationally treating children with various facial deformities on a mission trip in Colombia.
In her free time, Dr. Marquis enjoys traveling (30+ countries and counting), books and reading, cooking, watching rugby and soccer, and spending time with her husband and her rescue cat, Luna.
